MOBO: Through the Ages, with The Vanbrugh Hill Music Syndicate

This exciting live music event showcased music of black origin through the ages, from its origins in folk spirituals to Jazz, Soul, Motown, Lovers Rock and more.

In the first half of the show, celebrated band The Vanbrugh Hill Music Syndicate covered renditions of gospel, works songs and classics from blues and jazz icons such as Charlie Parker and Miles Davis.

The second half brought the music into the late 20th Century with renditions of Soul, Motown, Funk and Disco, Hip- Hop and Rnb, and Neosoul.

With accompanying videos and projections, and the opportunity for local vocalists to take to the stage with the band, this was an afternoon of great music that was not to be missed!!

 Ages: All ages welcome
